CEO Welcome and TGCS

A message from our CEO, Mike Potter

Thank you for taking the time to explore Tyndale Group of Christian Schools.
As a parent or caregiver, you want a school where your child is known, safe and encouraged to do their best. You also want a school that will walk alongside your family over the whole journey, from the early years through to graduation. That is what we are committed to at Tyndale.

We are a caring Christian community and an open enrolment group of schools. Families come to us with many different backgrounds, but they share a desire for strong learning, clear values and a school that takes character and faith seriously. Across our schools you will see staff who are committed Christians and who see their work as a calling. You will notice high expectations around learning, effort and respect. You will hear staff talking about both student wellbeing and academic progress, because we believe that who students are becoming is just as important as what they are achieving.

Our hope is that each student will grow into a confident, capable, compassionate young adult who is ready for life beyond school, whatever pathway they choose. We want our graduates to know they are loved and valued, to understand their strengths and to be willing to use those strengths in service of others.

I invite you to watch the short video and to visit one of our schools to see Tyndale for yourself.

Who we are
as a group of schools

Tyndale Group of Christian Schools (TGCS) is a family of four schools across South Australia, working together with a shared vision and purpose.

Each school has its own local flavour and community, but all are built on the same foundations: a clear Christian faith and values base, our RISE values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence, a focus on strong teaching, learning support and student wellbeing, and a commitment to open enrolment and welcoming families from many backgrounds.

Our schools include:

Local schools, shared strength

Being part of TGCS means your child learns in a local school community, supported by the strength and experience of a wider group.

For families, this brings consistency in values and expectations across all schools, strong leadership from a CEO, Principals and Executive who work together, shared expertise as teachers and leaders learn from one another, and stability and governance through a Board that oversees the whole group and plans ahead. It also allows for continuous improvement as we refine and share what works best for students.

Our Central Office team exists to support Principals, teachers and staff so they can focus on what matters most: teaching, caring for students and partnering with families.
